About Shaddy

Shaddy is a very patient and committed teacher who loves to pass on her knowledge and skills to her students. In her lessons, Shaddy concentrates on performance techniques and professional detailing so that even beginners can add the 'wow-factor' into their dancing.

Shaddy'sPersian background means she has been able to combine the fun femininity of classic belly dancing with the cheekiness and expressiveness of Persian and Bollywood dancing. Not only does Shaddy enjoy performing and teaching, but she also loves to see her students' develop their skills and confidence as they learn the dance.

Performance highlights:

• Community events, international/multicultural evenings and events at local schools and at the University of Aberdeen
• Charity events including Mencap, and a performance at a racial equality event at The Elgiva Theatre which specifially celebrated diversity.
• Working with a variety of students on confidence building techniques, including those coping with depression, performers with stage-fright and mothers who are seeking female-only exercise.
• Performing on BBC3's "Don't Tell The Bride".
