Can the techniques get any more intricate? Yes, they can!

Go crazy and take on the challenge of Drum Solo Level 6! There’s always another layer to add to your shimmy, and a way to upgrade the way you move – and even the way you think about moving! Although we up the pace in this course, there’s also time to take a look through the magnifying glass at some of the intricacies of Level 6 techniques.

Discover how to enhance the sophistication of your belly dancing skills – and create a performance that’s as fascinating to watch as it is to dance!

Allow your own body to impress you. You can do this!

You’ve probably danced with us enough by now to know about our Belly Dance Showcase – and this course includes the option to perform!

If you’d like to perform we’ll ask you to confirm your costume colours by week 3 of the course, so we can allocate the choreography roles and positions for everyone nice and early. Be ready to take your shimmies and smiles to the stage!

Book your place today

Entry to the venue is up to 15 minutes before class start time. Please sign in at reception on arrival then head to the studio to dance with us!

Please note: Students may use the gym’s changing rooms and dance studio, but the use of any other facilities (e.g. showers, swimming pool etc.) is not permitted by the venue. Exit for this class is by 9.55pm at the latest, in accordance with our contract with the Club, so there won’t be time to use the changing rooms once the class has finished. Instead, you’ll have your belongings with you in the studio and can simply pull your trousers over your leggings, change your shoes and put on your coat 🙂

Disclaimer: As with any form of exercise, be sure to listen to your body and only do what feels comfortable for you. Your instructor will guide you safely through each class, but please note that you are responsible for your personal health at all times. Please speak to your doctor if you have any concerns before joining our classes. Healthy bodies are happy bodies!

Fees are non-refundable. If you miss 1 or 2 classes, you can take up to 2 replacement classes (subject to T&C here). You may also transfer your place to a friend if you can no longer make it, or apply for a future term transfer (subject to T&C here)

Course price (£130) is total fee per person. Add the performance bundle (£20) to your cart if you want to take part in the end of term Belly Dance Showcase on Sunday 24th March 2019.

Our instructors aren’t able to slow the pace of advanced courses – we want our students to feel happily challenged, only when they’re ready 🙂

What to wear

Comfortable clothing that you can move and stretch in!

For example:

  • leggings
  • a short or long top
  • anti-slip socks / flexible sole slipper
  • optional coinbelt / hipscarf

Don’t have a coinbelt? We sell some in classes, or you can simply bring a winter scarf to wrap around your hips. Some students don’t wear a scarf nor a belt so don’t worry if you prefer to opt out!
