Keen to learn the vertical figure of 8?
Build on the basics by adding Level 2 techniques to your repertoire, and discover just how much further you can go! Welcome in new moves from the hip drops family, polish up your snake arms and discover the camel undulation – and that’s just for starters! This course is packed with new moves to discover (the vertical figure of 8 being just one of many!), and ways to enhance the skills you’ve already learnt.
This course includes the option to perform at our end of term Belly Dance Showcase, so you can start exercising your new belly dance vocabulary straight away!

Entry to the venue is up to 15 minutes before class start time. Please sign in at reception on arrival (you don’t need to be a member of Nuffield) then head to the studio to dance with us!
Please note: Students may use the gym’s changing rooms and dance studio, but the use of any other facilities (e.g. showers, swimming pool etc.) is not permitted by the venue. Exit for this class is by 9.55pm at the latest, in accordance with our contract with the Club, so there won’t be time to use the changing rooms once the class has finished. Instead, you’ll have your belongings with you in the studio and can simply pull your trousers over your leggings, change your shoes and put on your jacket 🙂

Your instructor will guide you safely through each class, but please note that you are responsible for your personal health at all times. Fees are non-refundable. If you miss 1 or 2 classes you can take up to 2 replacement classes (subject to T&C here). You may also transfer your place to a friend if you can no longer make it, or apply for a future term transfer (subject to T&C here)
Course price (£130) is total fee per person. Add the performance bundle (£20) to your cart if you want to take part in the end of term Belly Dance Showcase on Saturday 23rd November 2019.

What to wear
Comfortable clothing that you can move and stretch in!
- a short or long top
- barefoot / anti-slip socks / flexible sole slipper
- optional coinbelt / hipscarf
Don’t have a coinbelt? We sell some in classes, or you can simply bring a winter scarf to wrap around your hips. Some students don’t wear a scarf nor a belt so don’t worry if you prefer to opt out!
