If you’ve come this far, it’s time to find out what’s next!

Level 5 is definitely not a ‘one stop shop’. It’s designed as a full journey of its own, with scope to explore, develop and perfect advanced techniques over several terms (because there are still so many of them left to discover!).

Amongst other things, challenge yourself with even more complex layering, belly rolls, another new camel (this time, the string camel!), the head figure of 8 – and let’s demystify the windmill turn, once and for all!

Why 5 weeks?

Because summer time often means summer holidays, woohoo! Our 10-week courses have their own little holiday during July-August, and our 5-week courses shimmy in from stage left to work their summer season 🙂 These shorter courses offer a flexible way to keep dancing during the holiday season… join us in July, August – or both!

 

Book your place today

Entry to the venue is up to 15 minutes before class start time. Please sign in at reception on arrival then head to the studio to dance with us!

Please note: Students may use the gym’s changing rooms and dance studio, but the use of any other facilities (e.g. showers, swimming pool etc.) is not permitted by the venue. Exit for this class is by 9.55pm at the latest, in accordance with our contract with the Club, so there won’t be time to use the changing rooms once the class has finished. Instead, you’ll have your belongings with you in the studio and can simply pull your trousers over your leggings and change your shoes 🙂

Disclaimer: As with any form of exercise, be sure to listen to your body and only do what feels comfortable for you. Your instructor will guide you safely through each class, but please note that you are responsible for your personal health at all times. Please speak to your doctor if you have any concerns before joining our classes. Healthy bodies are happy bodies!

Fees are non-refundable. If you miss 1 class, you can take 1 replacement class (subject to T&C here). You may also transfer your place to a friend if you can no longer make it, or apply for a future term transfer (subject to T&C here)

Course price is total fee per person.

Please contact us / your instructor for approval before booking this course. This is to help us make sure you can get the most out of every course you take with us, find your classes enjoyable, and that there’s no risk to your health and safety. Our instructors aren’t able to slow the pace of advanced courses – we want our students to feel happily challenged, only when they’re ready 🙂

What to wear

Comfortable clothing that you can move and stretch in!

For example:

  • leggings
  • a short or long top
  • anti-slip socks / flexible sole slipper
  • optional coinbelt / hipscarf

Don’t have a coinbelt? We sell some in classes, or you can simply bring a winter scarf to wrap around your hips. Some students don’t wear a scarf nor a belt so don’t worry if you prefer to opt out!
